It is open to all Wolfson students. Students can make appointments with our college counselors during their lunches, attend visits from college representatives across the country, and receive extra support, such as NHS’s lunchtime tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The resources found here are designed to supplement the support of our counselors at the College Resource Center!

What do I need?

Commun

Community service or paid work hours are required for all Bright Futures Scholarship Awards.    There is not a community service requirement for graduation.  Students may begin logging community service/work hours the summer before freshman year. 

Students are allowed to combine paid work hours and community service hours to count towards the requirement for the Bright Futures Scholarship.

All community service and work log must be turned into Ms. Starn in Guidance.

Test Scores

What are they used for?

Test scores are used for college admissions, scholarships, and EOC/FSA Concordant scores.

Students will be evaluated for Bright Futures based on official test scores from the FDOE repository. To ensure Office of Student Financial Assistance obtains official test scores: Ensure demographics on your test registration and high school transcript match; and request your official test scores be sent to one of Florida’s 12 state universities when registering for the ACT and/or SAT.
